Och solange die Qualität stimmt (und die hat für mich bei den Toy Story Filmen bisher immer gestimmt), darf da gerne alle paar Jahre was neues kommen.

Bin vorsichtig optimistisch. Beim vierten Teil hatte mich der Trailer damals überhaupt nicht angesprochen, der Film jedoch grandios unterhalten.

„Ernie Hudson has been cast as the voice of Combat Carl in Toy Story 5, succeeding the late Carl Weathers, who passed away in February 2024 at age 76. Weathers originally voiced the character in Toy Story of Terror! (2013) and Toy Story 4 (2019). Hudson, renowned for his role as Winston Zeddemore in the Ghostbusters franchise, brings extensive voice acting experience to the role, with credits in Transformers: Prime, Batman: Bad Blood, and Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
Directed by Andrew Stanton and co-directed by McKenna Harris, Toy Story 5 is set to release on June 19, 2026. The film will see the return of Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, and Joan Cusack as Jessie. Anna Faris also joins the cast in an undisclosed role.
The upcoming installment explores the theme "Toy meets Tech," as the beloved toy characters confront a new high-tech threat that challenges traditional playtime.“
