‘Friday the 13th’ Composer Harry Manfredini Is Working on ‘Crystal Lake’
Original
Friday the 13th composer Harry Manfredini is heading back to “Crystal Lake.”
Brad Caleb Kane (“IT: Welcome to Derry”), showrunner of A24’s upcoming prequel series, shared the news on
Instagram.
“Lunch with the maestro and composer of the iconic [Friday the 13th] Ki Ki Ki Ma Ma Ma theme [Harry Manfredini]. Cookin’ up some fresh nightmare fuel for ya,” Kane captioned a photo of the two them at lunch.
It’s unclear if Manfredini will be the series’ main composer or take on a different role — contributor, consultant, or perhaps writing the opening title theme? — but in any event, his involvement is a show of good faith for fans.
