In einer exklusiven Premiere wird ab 10. Oktober 2023 die komplette Serie "Moonlighting" ("Das Model und der Schnüffler") in einer neu gemasterten HD-Version in den USA bei Streaming-Dienst Hulu verfügbar sein.

Hulu promises that each episode of the comedy starring Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd has been remastered in HD from the original film source. It will even feature the original Grammy-nominated title track recording from Al Jarreau.

Both the theme and most of the other songs originally used on the show have been cleared for streaming, a Hulu source tells Vulture. Still to be determined: whether the show will stream on Disney+ outside the U.S. or if it’ll be licensed to other streaming platforms internationally.

I would say 95% of the time in the ways that matter most, it’s there. I think the songs that people remember, there are songs that are most important to the show and drive the story and the action, and certainly everything that Bruce sang and Cybill sang, and Curtis and Allyce, that’s all there.

I don’t think people will miss the things that we couldn’t quite get done. It won’t surprise you, like the Rolling Stones, we just couldn’t [get the rights].
