Gerade auf youtube über den Trailer zu dieser in Arbeit befindlichen, 8-teiligen Miniserie von Canal+ gestolpert. Basiert wohl auf der Comicreihe von Xavier Dorison und Enrique Breccia und hat imho starke "Captain America goes WW1"-Vibes (minus Captain America's Prettyboy-Saubermann-Image 
).
Hier mal kurz die Synopsis:
Set at the outbreak of World War I, the series follows Gabriel Ferraud (Louis Peres), a French soldier gravely injured on the battlefield. Instead of succumbing to his wounds, Gabriel becomes part of a top-secret military experiment: the creation of super soldiers through a dangerous serum.
Now blessed — or cursed — with superhuman strength, speed, and resilience, Gabriel joins Les Sentinelles, an elite unit of enhanced warriors. But as he is thrust into the horrors of modern warfare, Gabriel must confront not only enemy soldiers but also the terrifying consequences of his transformation.
Will these men become the saviors of France, or its greatest monsters?
Sieht imho schon recht launig aus, das Setting ist geil und ich hoffe mal, dass sie auf deutscher Seite ähnliche hochgezüchtete "Supersoldaten" oder zumindest irgendwelche fiesen, todbringenden Kriegsmaschinerien am Start haben werden, damit das auch eine amtliche Schlacht für die Sentinels wird. Im Optimalfall kommen dabei vielleicht sogar zeitweise dezente "Wolfenstein"-Vibes rum.
